The Florentine firm Picci, founded by Paola Cherubini in 1970, is a leading company in the little children’s textile sector.
Picci now handles almost 500 articles of different types and makes, from fabrics to bedroom accessories, bathroom sets, cradles and cots. The items comprise different coordinated lines, developed for the two brands Picci and Dili Best.
The New Collections
In 2014 Picci will present three new collections: Bubi, Sugar and Muffin.
Bubi is a joyful, fun and colourful line available in two different shades with a zoo animal theme: complete with furniture elements and accessories, this line represents Picci’s entry level. The colours of the collection are natural/biscuit and baby pink with a touch of raspberry.
Sugar, on the other hand, is made from traditional 100% cotton fabrics in baby colours. Featuring a delightful puppy, it manages to express delicacy, sobriety and elegance. The collection is available in two colourways: white/soft pink and white/soft blue.
Picci also presents a collection that is almost entirely played out in cream: Muffin, with its contemporary, no-fuss design, is perfect for tiny babies. Its theme story is a charming little bear. The fabrics of the Muffin collection are embellished by little damask inserts.
The Florentine company completes its catalogue for the 2014 season by further extending its accessory section with a wide selection of articles in natural materials (bamboo and spelt hull), basics (in plain coloured fabrics without embroidery) and sanitary products, while the firm continues to specialize in cots and baby bath-changing table combos to offer a countless variety of configurations with trims, handles and knobs coordinated with its textile products.
For 2014, the Dili Best brand presents its new collection: Miró.
Original colours, refinement and research into materials and details are the characteristic features of this season’s new proposal. Super neutral colours define Miró, which is available in “taupe”, furniture included, or in total white. Particularly worth noting is the introduction of a chest with a concealed drawer, as an alternative to the simpler solution of baby bath-changing table with tub.
